NTR Trust provided free education to two orphan children


Sirisha (aged 16) and Mani (aged 11) have been orphaned recently due to the untimely death of their father Baddula Venkatesham. Their mother had died in an accident some years ago. The story of these poor orphaned children from Perepalli village of Chityala Mandal was reported by a leading daily.
Nara Lokesh, Trustee at NTR Trust, learnt about the children and took swift measures to support them. With the help of local workers belonging to a prominent political party, Lokesh reached out to the children and brought them to NTR Trust. At a public event organized here at NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad, Lokesh promised to provide free admission to Intermediate and free hostel facility to the sorrow stricken girl Sirisha at the NTR Girls' Junior College situated in Moinabad, Rangareddy. He further assured that through the NTR Model School the young orphan boy Mani will be given free education from 6th standard onwards. NTR Trust CEO T. Vishnu Vardhan and COO Y. Mohan Rao counselled the students and gave Sirisha free admission letter to the NTR Girls' Junior College, which was handed over by Nara Lokesh.

Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu visits NTR Sujala,Kuppam


Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, paid a visit to one of the NTR Sujala safe drinking water dispensation units in Kuppam. This is one of the 20 RO dispensation units under the state of the art Mega water purification plant set up by NTR Trust, which serves about 8,500 households. He interacted with Dhanalaxmi, caretaker from NTR Trust at Animiganipally village, and learnt about the functionality and delivery mechanism of the Kuppam plant. Impressed by the efficient ways with which clean and safe drinking water was being provided to thousands of households, the Chief Minister has instructed the RWS Dept to establish 20 more similar purification plants. NTR Trust under the leadership of Nara Lokesh, Trustee, is elated and proud of garnering praise from Sri Chandrababu Naidu and the Govt of AP administration that is keen on replicating our model across the State.

Spectacular Finale of Infinity Ride at NTR Trust Bhavan on 15.08.2015


Nara Lokesh, Trustee at NTR Trust led the way to welcome para-cyclist Aditya Mehta and 60 other cyclists who accompanied them on the arduous Bangalore to Hyderabad inter-state cycle ride supporting the cause of Rights of People with Disabilities and encouraging Para-sports. Joining the group at Shamshabad, Nara Lokesh extended his full support to the cause.
Aditya Mehta and 4 Para-cyclists along with 60 riders (which includes 30 Border Security Force personnel) who began the Infinity Ride at BSF Headquarters in Bangalore on 12 August reached NTR Trust on 15.08.2015. Over the last 3 days the riders crossed Penugonda, Anantapur, Dhone, Kurnool, Kothakota and Jadcherla.
More than 100 disabled people along with 800 students from NTR Model School and College, Vignan Engineering College, BVRIT and other educational institutions formed a Human Chain to welcome and cheer the Infinity Riders.

Infinity Ride Pit Stops at Dhone & Kurnool on 13.08.2015



Aditya Mehta and 60 para-cyclists accompanying them continued to show commitment and strength of character that could be envy to able-bodied riders. NTR Trust representatives, Telugu Desam party leaders, students and spectators were in awe after witnessing the cyclists go to great lengths, literally, to prove that they are no less.

 Pedalists were welcomed by Mr.K.E.Prathap (MLA) at Dhone around 01.00pm and they were cheered to proceed to Kurnool by NTR Trust COO, Y.Mohan Rao.

Cyclists were welcomed by Mr.T.G.Venkatesh, a political leader of TDP party in Kurnool at 05.00pm.

Medical and blood donation camps were also organised on this occasion.Of these, 70 blood units were collected and 1250 people were benefited through NTR Trust Medical Camps.

Felicitation Infinity Ride event in Anantapur on 12.08.2015


As a part of Infinity Ride,Para-cyclist Aditya Mehta and his team started their cycling from BSF Bangalore, reached Penukonda at 01.00pm,were proceeded to Anantapur and were felicitated at an auditorium in Anantapur on 12.08.2015 at 05.00pm. Despite the long exhausting ride, the cyclists brimmed with energy and interacted with the audience.

NTR Trust organized Voluntary blood donation camps and Medical camps in Anantapur. Of these, 76 blood units were collected and 600 people were benefited through medical camps.

Infinity Ride Pit Stop at Penukonda on 12.08.2015



Para-cyclist Aditya Mehta and his team reached Penukonda in Anantapur district. They were greeted by Smt. Paritala Sunita, Minister for Civil Supplies, Mr.Prabhakar Chowdary (MLA), Telugu Desam supporters and scores of school children. Smt. Paritala Sunita appreciated the efforts of the cyclists and called them 'inspirational people’ who rise above all odds to make way for others to follow. Hundreds of volunteers participated in the blood donation and medical camp organised on the occasion.
NTR Trust is proud to sponsor this cycle ride to spread awareness about the rights of differently-abled & raise funds for para-athletes.

Infinity Ride 2015 ride flagged off on 12 Aug 2015


NTR Trust is the proud sponsor of infinity ride - an inter-state 3 day cycle ride to raise awareness about the rights of people with disabilities and raise funds for para-athletes.


Mr. PS Sandhu, Inspector General of BSF flagged off the Infinity Ride at Bangalore at 4.30 am on 12.08.2015. Bollywood actor and model Milind Soman joined the 60 riders who started their cycling to NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad. BSF jawans cheered the riders. Aditya Mehta para-cyclist ride all the way with his single leg.
The riders stopped in Penukonda at 1 pm and Ananthapur at 5 pm where NTR Trust organized free medical camps and blood donation camps.

Inauguration of New Academic block for Junior Intermediate Girls at NTR Junior College,Gandhipet Campus

Our Managing Trustee, Smt.Nara Bhuvaneswari inaugurated the new Academic Block for Junior Intermediate Girls at Gandipet Campus today. The state-of-art-facility will comprise of classrooms, laboratories, department offices and faculty chambers. After lighting the lamp, Smt. Bhuvaneswari spent some valuable time with the students and explained the importance of education as a stepping stone towards a bright future. Students expressed their joy for entering into new block and the ambiance generated the spirit of dedication and commitment from the students. The faculty members expressed their happiness and thanked the Managing Trustee for guiding students & staff.
