NTR Trust Blood Bank has committed in issuing free blood units to Thalassemia Children as a part of Blood Shield Initiative. Till now NTR Trust issued 699 blood units to children suffering from Thalassemia - a blood disorder. We at NTR Trust Blood Bank ensure continued and timely supply of safe blood to these children.

Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaraalu organized by GoAP Dept of Language & Culture, VBFS & NTR Trust in Rajamahendravaram. Speaking on the occasion, Sri NCBN said "Initiatives like these are crucial to make AP a robust Knowledge Society." The Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaraalu is being held across 7 cities in the State to foster the culture of reading and learning among the youth.

Telangana's first PMKK Centre at NTR Trust Skill Development Centre

"Telangana's First PMKK Centre at NTR Trust" The first Pradhan Manthri Koushal Kendra (PMKK Centre) in #Telangana was inaugurated at NTR Trust by Hon’ble Minster of Labour and Employment, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya. This PMKK Centre at NTR Trust has 5 state of the art skill labs. NSDC (National Skill Development Centre) has recognized NTR Trust as first PMKK Centre in the state of Telangana. This center is given a mandate to skill and gainfully place 2000 youngsters in the next one year. NTR Trust in collaboration with Synchro Serve will be running this PMKK Centre. Graduate MLC N. Ramchandrarao, NTR Trust CEO T. Vishnu Vardhan and Synchro Serve CEO Adapa Raja Suresh Kumar were present at this event and addressed 700 unemployed youngsters who attended the inaugural event followed by a Kaushal Mela. Students from NTR Trust Skill Development Centre who got employment were given offer letters and course completion certificates.

Smt.Sugunamma,MLA,Tirupati inaugurated the first ever book fair at Indira Maidan,Tirupati.In the inaugural address Mr.Srinivasulu Reddy,MLC,Tirupati said : "Book is the first teacher of every human being".According to Dr.Sudha Rani, guest of honour - Books are synonyms of knowledge.68 students from various schools & Colleges participated in the drawing competition conducted by NTR Trust. 100 students from various schools & Colleges participated in the "Vocal music competition" conducted by NTR Trust. A delightful evening of "Kathak dance" was presented by two female dancers as a part of "Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaralu". 68 students from various schools & Colleges participated in the Poem, Sloka & essay competitions conducted by NTR Trust. Chief Guest Sri IYR Krishna Rao IAS launched the book "Bharateeyam" written by former DGP Sri Aravinda Rao. An exhibition cum sale of DWCRA (Development of Women & Children in Rural Areas) products at the "Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaralu" . 200 Students from various schools participated in the "Essay Writing “competition conducted by NTR Trust. The chief guest for the closing ceremony was Dr.Rallapalli Sudharani,TDP-Health Department District Official​. 

NTR Trust organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp and 52 donors voluntarily donated blood. NTR Trust conducted a Medical Camp and 224 public were benefited from the Health Camp. Through NTR Sujala, 12,600 safe drinking water sachets were distributede on free basis.

Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaraalu in Ananthapur

NTR Trust in collaboration with Vijayawada Book Festival Society and Department of Language and Culture of Government of Andhra Pradesh have initiated a state-wide cultural event - Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaraalu. Through this, we intend to take Book Exhibitions to 7 cities in Andhra Pradesh. The event was kick started in Ananthapur on 01, October 2016 and was inaugurated by Sri. Prabhakar Chowdary, MLA, Ananthapur. NTR Trust will also be conducting literary competitions for Children every day along with Personality Development and Career Guidance lectures by experts for youngsters. several cultural programs and competitions were held in this event. Thousands of visitors thronged to the stalls and thousands of books were put up for display at the venue. The chief guest for the closing ceremony was Mr. Prabhakar Chowdary, MLA Ananthapur. Ananthapur Mayor, Smt. Swaroopa & Deputy Mayor Shri. Gampanna, presented awards to the winners of various competitions conducted during the book fair.

NTR Trust conducted Medical Camps at Ananthapur and 320 public utilized these camps and medicines were distributed on free basis. Through NTR Sujala, distributed 14,780 safe drinking water packets to the public.

NTR Trust signed MoU with APCRDA in supplying safe drinking water to 29 villages

NTR Trust signed an MoU with APCRDA in providing safe drinking water to 29 villages in Amarvathi region @ Rs.2 for 20 litres of water for the beneficiaries. This MoU was signed between CRDA represented by  Mr. Cherukuri Sridhar, Commissioner CRDA and NTR Trust, Mr. T.Vishnu Vardhan, CEO.

Late Sri N.T.Rama Rao strongly believed that " Service to mankind is service to God" this is the core principle that guides NTR Trust's work. 

NTR Trust was delighted to serve the public who came for a holy dip on the occasion of Krishna Pushkaralu for continuous 12 days from 12 Aug, 2016 to 23 Aug,2016.

NTR Trust organized Medical Camps in collaboration with Local doctors & Para Medical Staff at Punnami Ghat, Durga Ghat, Padmavathi Ghat, Krishnaveni Ghat & Ferry Ghat and provided first aid services, free medical examinations to 25,000 pilgrims.

As a part of NTR Sujala, NTR Trust distributed 11,70,000 water sachets to the pilgrims of Krishna Pushkaralu across 9 Ghats & Vijayawada Bus Stand. NTR Trust also extended help to Akshaya Patra Foundation & Satya Sai Seva Samiti in distributing safe drinking water along with food to devotees at various places in Vijayawada. NTR Trust in association with Manasika Vikasa Kendram distributed safe drinking water to specially abled children.

Krishnamma App was downloaded by 10,000 + pilgrims, got highest number of positive reviews. This app gave live information reg real time crowd status, parking status, pandits etc. We thank all 40 TNSF volunteers who actively participated in making this App a successful one.

NTR Trust launched Mentor the Hero Program at ITC Grand Kakatiya, Hyderabad on 07 Aug,2016. 

Thanks to Mentors and well-wishers who have turned up for the "Mentor-The-Hero" launch event yesterday! Many thanks to Nara Lokesh, Lakshmi Manchu, Dr. Chandrasekhar Srivari (Director, CSIR -  Indian Institute of Chemical technology), Dr. Vijay Yeldandi (CEO, GYD Group), and many other dignitaries who graced the occasion!! Thanks to Artist Hari for putting together a wonderful Mentor the Hero painting exhibition that was inaugurated by Lokesh Nara. We are thankful ITC Kakatiya for sponsoring the event whole heartedly!

NTR Trust is blessed to have received support from across the globe for Mentor-The-Hero program. We already have Mentors who have come forward to sponsor and mentor the education of Orphan children at our NTR Model Schools‬. We are glad to share that we have Mentors who committed to support from USA, Kuwait, Dubai, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We are happy to welcome 356 new students into NTR Trust family, who joined NTR Trust Junior College this year. Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari guided the students on the principles of success. NTR Trust active participation in Telugu Bhasha Samskruthika Sammelanam

NTR Trust collaborated with the Cultural and Literary organisations of Krishna District in organising a day long symposium " Telugu Bhasha Samskruthika Sammelanam" .  The day long symposium discussed the immediate action plans for the growth of Telugu Language and culture in the new Telugu States and the role of the Government. The symposium was attended by more than 1,100 delegates from the two Telugu states and representatives from Karnataka, Orissa, Maharashtra, Gujarat and West Bengal. We were fortunate to do this symposium commemorating the 60th birthday of Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad garu.

World Blood Donor Day - 2016

NTR Trust organised an event on the occasion of  " World Blood Donor Day - 2016" to felicitate the volunteer donors and camp organisers. Mr.Nara Rohith, noted Telugi film actor, graced the event as the chief guest. Mr.T.Vishnu Vardhan, CEO of NTR Trust gave an update on the achievements of NTR Trust Blood Banks and informed about the launch of the proposed "Blood Shield" programme whereby NTR Trust Blood Banks will adopt 100 poor Thalasemic children to provide free blood and medicines.

All the volunteer donors and camp organizers were felicitated by Chief Guest Mr.Nara Rohith who gave them certificates and shields.

Dr.Rajiv Nikte & Dr.Girish Chowdhary visited NTR Trust Blood Bank, Hyderabad as a part of NABH Survelliance Audit on 04th & 05th June 2016. NABH is the highest quality accreditation body in India. 

NTR Trust Blood Bank is the FIRST NGO run blood bank in South India to get NABH Accreditation.

NTR Trust participation in Three days of Mahanadu - 2016

NTR Trust actively participated in Mahanadu 2016 on 27,28,29 May 2016. We had 854 no.of volunteer donors who donated blood to save precious lives. We have also provided free medical screening and medicines to more than 3000 public. we have also given orientation on Smart Village Programme to 300 people. About 700 youngsters were oriented about NTR Trust Skill Development Activities. We have showcased NTR Sujala Cluster Model. A great add-on this time is the proto type of NTR Museum where we showcased NTR Gari political and film career.

Ambulance for poor Gulf NRIs returning back to their native places

Kudaravalli Sudhakar Rao, a kuwait based NRI donated an ambulance to NTR Trust in the presence of the Trustee Nara Lokesh. NTR Trust will use this vehicle to ferry unfortunate death victims and chronic patients, mostly labourers , returning from Gulf to their native places. Nara Lokesh flagged off the ambulance and said that “ NTR Trust will take measures to provide such ambulance service to poor Gulf NRIs from Vijayawada , Hyderabad, Chennai, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam airports”.

NTR Trust Sponsored Intermediate Student Toppers

We are happy to share that our entire NTR Model School X Class batch of 2013-14 has successfully passed their Intermediate Exams. We are specially proud of four top scorers - Jyothi (982/1000 MPC); Anvesh Kumar (966/1000 BiPC); Ms.Triveni (966/1000 BiPC)and Vijay Kumar (960/1000 MEC). Congratulations to all!

Most of these children were orphans or semi-orphans from extremely poor background. NTR Model School was their home for 5 years after which we sponsored their Intermediate education. These results reiterate our belief that Education is a great gift one can give to a child.

We are aiming to giving the gift of free quality residential education to 2,000 orphan children by 2020.

NTR Trust today signed a MoU with Uber to create 20,000 self-employment opportunities for youngsters in Telangana and AP. Managing Trustee Bhuvaneswari Nara, Trustees Lokesh Nara and Brahmani Nara, David Plouffe Chief Advisor (Uber) and Team Uber Hyderabad were present on the occasion. 20 cars were handed over to proud Driver-Owners who looked forward to a bright future as self-employed individuals.

As a tribute to the Telugu Icon - N.T. Rama Rao, our Trustee Nara Lokesh's most cherished dream is to build a state-of-the-art Museum on NTR. A museum that captures the rich and diverse personality of NTR, something that is interactive, participatory and takes one down the memory lane of cinema and politics of the Telugu region. At NTR Trust we made an initial attempt to briefly showcase, in a limited way, what this spectacular museum could look like. We are well aware that this is not even a beta version...however, we had to begin somewhere.
